Reformation Lutheran Church / American Christianity at It's Finest!

Dr. George Tiller was murdered this past Sunday while performing his duties as an usher at Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, Kansas. Many have expressed horror that this murder occurred in a Church of all places. The Tiller family said in a statement, "This is particularly heart-wrenching because George was shot down in his house of worship, a place of peace."

Having said that, I would like to address what Dr. Tiller did for a living. He was one of the nations few late term abortion providers and some estimate that he murdered 60,000+ babies during his years practicing this barbarous branch of medicine. His murder clinic will reopen for business after closing down for the week to honor Dr. Tiller and the beat will go on. His Church family held a candle light vigil in his memory.

What has it come to in America when a 'church' knowingly welcomes into it's fellowship a man who has murdered 60,000+ people in his abortion factory? The Reformation Lutheran Church has disgraced the name of Christ under the guise of being open minded and tolerant. They have endorsed an industry that is guilty of the murder of millions of babies over the past 35+ years by their acceptance of an unrepentant murderer into their fellowship. Their acceptance of George Tiller into their fellowship has lent a modicum of credibility in American Christian circles to this industry of butchers. I say the Reformation Lutheran Church is anti-Christ and needs to repent of this gross sin and turn to God for forgiveness. Of course they will not do this and will label those of us who are critical of their gross sin as right wing fundamentalists. So be it!

The Reformation Lutheran Church is culpable in the murder of all the babies that were killed while Dr. Tiller was a member of their fellowship (not to mention the blood he had on his hands from all the murders he committed before he joined their fellowship). Instead of condemning Dr. Tiller's terrible deeds they endorsed his murderous practice by allowing him a place at their table. The shame is theirs to bear and it will be ours as well if we fail to stand in opposition to these false churches who fraudulently claim to be God's people.

Dr. Tiller has now stood before the ultimate judge and has received his reward for the works he performed with his hands. Paul said in Galatians 6:7 "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." Dr. Tiller has reaped what he sowed.

I would add that Dr. Tiller's murder was a terrible crime and his murderer should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Bible tells us that vengeance belongs to God and He will perform it. We are never to take the law into our own hands.
